Hyundai Motor Co.  announced that the Genesis G70 and Kona were both finalists in the 2019 North American Car of the Year category and Utility Division.
According to Hyundai, three models, including the G70, Honda Insight, and Volvo S60, were the final candidates for the North American car of the year.
The Genesis brand is the second-to-be-received candidate after the G90 was selected as the final candidate for the 2017 North American Car of the Year, announced in 2016.
