Lo yacht, battente bandiera statunitense, con tutta probabilit\u00e0 era partito dalla Turchia. Una volta individuata, l&#8217;imbarcazione ha spento tutte le luci e ha puntato direttamente verso la costa, ma dopo un breve inseguimento i finanzieri sono riusciti ad affiancarla. I migranti, tra i quali una donna in stato di gravidanza, 34 bambini, alcuni anziani invalidi e un non vedente sono stati poi trasportati al centro Don Tonino Bello di Otranto per l&#8217;identificazione.
